Tanya has worked at many non-profits in the Lewiston area. She spends her free time doing photography and playing with her French bulldog, Guinness.

Sarah loves that she gets to help students grow confident in themselves and demonstrate a greater sense of self. Sarah enjoys travelling the world; she has climbed Mt Vesuvius in Italy and ridden a camel through the Sahara Desert.

Michelle has worked at Sandcastle for over seven years. She lives in Lewiston with her two dogs and two cats. Michelle spends her free time with her pets and playing video games.

Coreen loves the people and kids she works with. In her free time, she likes to take her two daughters to fun places, go shopping, or spend time with friends.

Natalie has lived in Maine her whole life. She loves reading, cooking, and spending time outside. She also volunteers as a volleyball coach for high school girls.

Speech-Language Pathologist

Rachel has worked at Sandcastle since August of 2019. She loves that everyday is a new challenge and there is an element of fun involved in every portion of her day. She enjoys reading, baking, and crafting activities such as sewing, knitting, and painting.

Marissa Moore, M.A., CCC-SLP

Speech-Language Pathologist

Marissa started learning about language development as an undergraduate and fell in love with helping children build those skills. In her free time, she volunteers at her church and with a missions group. Marissa spends lots of time with her family, playing games and doing community events.

Haley True, C-SLPA

Speech-Language Pathology Assistant

Haley is from New Gloucester, Maine. She has always loved working with children and she enjoys building relationships with her clients and their families. Haley spends her free time baking, practicing yoga, and walking her dog.

Katie grew up in Bedford, New Hampshire and now lives in Lewiston. She loves that her job allows her to be silly while interacting with children. She likes to play with her dogs, and enjoys time outside.

Ashlyn Hamann, OTR/L

Occupational Therapist

Ashlyn loves to be creative in her job. She believes that there is nothing that can’t be therapeutic for a child, you just have to find everyone’s interests and use those to help achieve your goals. Ashlyn spends her free time crafting and playing with her daughter.

Occupational Therapist

Emily is originally from upstate New York, and now lives in Lewiston. In her free time, she loves to read and do yoga. She is constantly exploring new creative outlets; most recently she took a pottery course! Emily has two cats that she adores.

Terri Warren, OTR/L

Occupational Therapist

Terri is Sandcastle’s most seasoned therapist. She loves Occupational Therapy because it combines science with a social aspect, and she has many opportunities to learn every single day. Terri enjoys painting landscapes in her free time.

Alana graduated from the Developmental-Clinical Psychology Doctoral Program at the University of Maine at Orono. She enjoys being outdoors, doing activities such as hiking, kayaking, and snow-shoeing.

Kerry first learned about Physical Therapy at a job fair by accident. She spends lots of her free time volunteering at Maine State Ballet. She also loves spending time with her three children and her granddaughter. She was once voted most likely to be the first woman President.

Isabelle grew up in Ottawa, Canada, and now she lives in Auburn. She loves that her job allows her to shape young minds through play. Isabelle spends most of her time with her two children.

Yaicha has worked at Sandcastle for nine years. She loves that she gets to care for children and work with a team who is committed to overcoming any obstacles that her students have. Yaicha also coaches basketball and spends lots of time with her 2 children and 5 cats.

Whitney has been working with children since she was in middle school and comes from a family of educators. She lives in Monmouth with her husband, daughter, along with their two cats, two dogs, and nine chickens.

Nysa has worked at Sandcastle for three years as an Ed Tech. She loves interacting with the kids and helping them to get a head start in life. Nysa enjoys going for walks, watching hockey games, and coloring.

Latoya Fournier

Latoya has always loved being around kids, and her favorite thing about Sandcastle is that she gets to help teach them skills that they can use throughout their whole lives. She is an avid hockey fan, and has season tickets to see all of the Maine Mariners games.

Annie currently lives in Lewiston, but she grew up in Key West, Florida. She loves getting to work with all the kids at Sandcastle and help give them skills to become amazing humans. When Annie is not at work, she enjoys sewing, baking, cooking, and spending time outside with her son.
